Another successful weekend of IFA football and frivolity has drawn to a close.
37 teams came to Nottingham to renew old acquaintances and take part in the IFA’s showcase events and it was Preston North End who won their 4th WorldNet crown, defeating defending champs Rotherham 2-0 in the final.
Everton notched their second BigTamVets title in their 4th consecutive final with a 3-1 win against a spirited Arsenal Nigeria side, who had played extra time in every game in their run.
In the plate competition, Ayr United were 4-0 winners against a Grimsby team playing their first final at WorldNet, a result which saw the Scottish side claim their first piece of silverware in 20 years of attending the big show.
Plans have already begun for the 25th edition of the WorldNet weekend in 2020 and we look forward to sharing date confirmation soon.
